This work, which is the translation and annotation of the famous work of Huccetül İslam İmam-ı Ghazal named Eyyühel Veled, was written by Süleyman ibn Jara in 960 in Hijri. This work, which was written as a catechism according to the needs of the time it was written, was enriched with 369 hadiths and 44 saints news as the author stated.
About the Author
He was born in 478 AD. In other words, Allah Almighty granted Imam Ghazali to the Ummah of Islam in order to revive the religion with him. Until 478, he was engaged in studying religious sciences from al-Cüveyn. In his own century, he became pointed in the Shafi sect. Later, he became the head of Nizamiye Madrasa and started to give lectures in the western lodge of the Umayyad Mosque, which would later become famous as the Gazali lodge. He has authored many great and comprehensive books. He left us an excellent work called İhyai Ulumiddin. He turned to Sufism in his last days. He passed away in 505 when he was 55 years old.
