Hamîd-i Velî (Somuncu Baba), Hacı Bayram Velî and Şeyh Tâceddîn Velî were among the greatest scholars and saints of the Ottoman period. These people have an important place in Ottoman history and Sufism. For this reason, it will be extremely beneficial for the scientific world to present the lives of these scholars, their wise words, commentaries and their surroundings, as well as Arabic, Persian and Ottoman manuscripts and printed works that we can identify from rare booklets and Turkey Specialization Libraries. Thus, a serious gap regarding Ottoman culture and history will be filled and researchers will be guided on this issue. As a matter of fact, "Whoever writes the life history of a believer is like keeping him alive." "Our works are documents that introduce us. For this, see our works after us." The couplet in the text shows how important this issue is. Besides, "A nation that does not know its elders can never rise." The laconic word should also be reminded here.
Evrad is prayer. Dua is the pleading of a person to Allahu ta'ala to have a wish about himself or someone else. As a matter of fact, Allahu ta'âlâ says in the Quran, "Pray to me (with the pure heart). I accept your prayer." (The believer: 60). The blessing that a believer makes for his religious brother is acceptable. An angel says, "May Allahu ta'ala give this favor to you too! And Acirc; min." The angel's prayer is not rejected (Hadîs-i sharîf-Riyâzü's-Sâlihîn).
In particular, scholars and saints who lived in the Seljuk and Ottoman periods such as Mevlânâ Celâleddîn-i Rûmî and Seyyid Ahmed Rifâî have their own stages. It is in the place of necessity to unearth them. Because prayer has a great importance in Islam. In this regard, the manuscript Verses of Hamîd-i Velî, Hacı Bayram Velî and Şeyh Tâceddîn Velî were recorded in the Istanbul National Library and Çorum Hasan Pasha Manuscript Library. In this work, the introduction of this scholar and saints who lived in the Ottoman period and wrote valuable printed and manuscript works in various disciplines and presenting their daily prayers will be beneficial in terms of Ottoman history and Sufism history.
