PREFACE
One of the word meanings of the Quran, which is a guide to guidance, is to read. To him as it is the most read and must read book. The name of the Quran was given to mean "to read" the book that should be read. Humanity always needs the guidance of the Quran, the most important and last heavenly book sent to all humanity. For him, understanding, experiencing and explaining this magnificent book is a duty that every Muslim will focus on sensitively.
It is possible to define the Quran as follows, considering its various features: The Quran is Hz. It is the miracle word of the Almighty Allah, which was sent down to Muhammad through revelation in Arabic during the 23-year prophethood period, starting with the term of al-Fatiha and ending with the period of Nas, written in mushafs and transmitted as mutawatir, and worshiped with his prayer. "
The Quran was sent not only to the Arabs, but to all humanity. There are two ways to convey the Quran to people. Either teaching all people Arabic or translating the Quran into other languages. Because it is difficult and impossible to teach Arabic to all people, it is stated that various languages have been created in the Quran and that this is one of the proofs of Allah's power. Due to this situation, it has become necessary to translate the Quran into other languages.
Today, many people in the world become Muslim every day either by reading and listening to the original of the Quran or by turning to translations and interpretations. This is one of the striking proofs that the Quran is a miracle and preserves its freshness at all times.
With these thoughts, we have conveyed the translation of the deceased Elmalılı Muhammed Hamdi Yazır's commentary on the Tafsir of the True Religious Quran, as a result of a meticulous study, remaining faithful to the original. While preparing this work;
- The interpretations of the Ahli Sunnah scholars were acted upon and comments were avoided.
-Turkish equivalents of Arabic words have been expanded and maximum attention has been paid not to spoil the expression style of the deceased.
- It has been tried to use a plain language.
-The first edition of the work, the print between 1935 and 1939, was used in our studies.
- We left huruf-u mukattaa like Elif, Lâm, Mim.
While doing our work, we tried to minimize the errors by showing great care. Despite this, we would like to express that the criticisms of the competent people will guide us in eliminating our deficiencies and we will pray to them for this.
If working is our success, it is from Allah.

TILAVET CHAIR
Recitation means reading the Quran. The prostration performed when the verse of prostration is recited is called recitation.
It is wajib for a person to perform prayers if he reads or hears one of the 14 verses in the Qur'an al-karim, even if he does not understand its meaning.
How to make the recitation:
The intention is made to prostrate the recitation. Intention is essential. It is not valid without intention. He stands against the qibla, says Allahukber without raising his hands to the ears, and goes to prostrate. He says Subhane rabbyal-a'la three times in prostration. Then he says Allahu akbar and stands up. Thus, prostration-i recitation is complete.
