Agate has been used since ancient times as ornaments, jewelery and sometimes as a protective agent against negative energies.
It appears to be composed of rings of various colors around a center. It is hard and its colored parts have a light-permeable structure.
It got its name from the Achates River in Sicily. Stones known as Agat and Akit, red, gray, white, blue, brown and green
in mixed colors. Our Prophet used an agate stone ring as a seal. Some people call agate stone Fire Stone or Traveler Stone.
